Meet Our Gifted Member of the Month
Each month, we invite you to get to know one of our talented Guild members. We are so fortunate to have a group of amazingly gifted artists among our membership and are proud to honor their unique artistic expression.
Patty McNall

Patty joined the San Juan Weavers Guild in September, 2010 and is the current Co-Vice President of the Guild. She resides in Ridgway, Colorado with her husband DeGrey and various critters including a growing herd of Tibetan Yaks. As she wanted to explore the various uses of their fiber, she became interested in weaving. After a visit to Tierra Wools, she signed up for a class and became addicted to the craft. Now you can often find her hard at work on one of the looms.
Patty is currently exploring various styles of weaving and enjoys employing traditional, as well as contemporary, design elements in her work. She is especially drawn to the rich colors of the desert Southwest and hopes that her weaving capture its spirit.
Patty also is a gifted knitter and has created a very whimsical flock of knitted sheep representing a myriad of breeds.
In her free time, Patty can be found outdoors enjoying gardening, horseback riding, traveling, hiking, fishing and frolicking with her yaks.
